Accept a team invitation
Join a CosmicAC team by accepting an invitation sent to your email address.
Join a CosmicAC team by accepting an invitation sent to your email address. CosmicAC doesn't have public sign-up. You need an invitation from a team lead or platform administrator to create an account and join a team.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure that you have the following.
- An invitation email from a team lead or platform administrator.
Accept an invitation
Open the invitation link
Open your invitation email and click the invitation link. You can use the link only once, and it expires after 7 days. The invitation email shows the expiration date.
The invitation page opens, and CosmicAC tries to accept the invitation. While it works, the page shows Accepting your invite….
Finish joining the team
What the page shows next depends on your account, as described in the following list.

You don't have an account: the page shows Create your account.
- In the Full Name field, enter your name.
- In the Password field, enter a password of at least 6 characters.
- In the Confirm Password field, enter the same password.
- Click Create account and join.

You have an account and aren't logged in: the page shows Sign in to join.
- Click Log in.
- Log in with the account for the invited email address.
CosmicAC returns you to the invitation page and accepts the invitation.

You're logged in with a different account: the page shows This invite is for, followed by the invited email address.
- Click Switch account.
- Log in with the account for the invited email address.
CosmicAC returns you to the invitation page and accepts the invitation.

You're logged in with the account for the invited email address: CosmicAC accepts the invitation with no further action from you.
After CosmicAC accepts the invitation, the page shows the team that you joined and your role. Click Go to platform. The web interface opens with the invited team as your active team.
An invitation works only for the email address that it was sent to.
Help and troubleshooting
The page says This invite has expired or is no longer valid
The invitation link has expired or is no longer valid. Ask a team lead to send you a new invitation, and then open the new link.
The page says This invite has already been accepted or You're already a member of this team
You're already a member of the team. To open CosmicAC, do one of the following.
- If you're not logged in, click Log in, and then log in with the account for the invited email address.
- If you're logged in, click Go to platform.
The page says We couldn't add you yet
CosmicAC couldn't complete the request. Check your connection, and then click Try again.
